There are advantages and disadvantages of websites and social media. However, today, I decided to take a look at four reasons why websites are better than social media. Take a look.

1.) You own it - Unlike your social media accounts, you own your website and content. It is your digital space that you control and utilize to your liking.

2.) Customization - With a website, you can change the looks and styles of your site. Since you don't own social media, you cannot change it. What you see is what you get.

3.) Professional Platform - Having a social media presence is common and expected in this digital age. However, they're not seen as professional. Websites, however, are seen in that light. They provide valuable information and are seen a place of trust for viewers.

4.) Improves online presence - Having a website improves your search engine optimization (SEO). Being found in search engines allows anyone to find you, unlike social media, where you need to be found on those sites itself.
